  • OTP Verification Data: Data related to OTP verification for item pickups/returns.

  • Location Information: We collect your GPS location or selected city to enable location-based listing, viewing nearby items, and filtering. You can enable or disable location services through your device settings.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you access and use the App, such as the features you use, the items you view, the time and duration of your activity, and interactions with other users.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, including the device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Log Data: When you use our App, we automatically collect certain log data, including your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide and Maintain the App: To operate, maintain, and provide all features of the Giveezy App, including user accounts, item listings, and communication functionalities.
• To Personalize Your Experience: To display relevant item listings based on your location and preferences.
• To Facilitate Transactions: To manage item giveaways and lending, process requests, and facilitate pickups and returns, including OTP verification.
• To Improve Our Services: To understand how users interact with the App, troubleshoot issues, and develop new features and functionalities.

• For Security and Fraud Prevention: To protect the security and integrity of the App, prevent fraudulent activity, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

• With Other Users:
  • When you list an item, your item details (title, photos, description, location range) are visible to other users.
  • When you make or receive a request, certain information about the requestor/recipient (e.g., name, profile photo) will be shared to facilitate communication via the chat screen.
  • Your profile name and photo may be visible to users you interact with or who browse user lists.
• With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, and customer support.
• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).

• Communications: You can opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. Please note that we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
• Deleting Items: You can delete any listed product, and it will be moved to an archive list.
