1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, posting an item, or using any feature within Giveezy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. User Accounts and Registration

• You must register for an account using your Name, Email, and Password.
• We support social logins through Google and Facebook.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
• If you forget your password, use the Reset Password feature.

3. Organization Registration & Dashboard

Organizations can register and participate with special privileges. The signup and verification process includes:

• Option to register as an Organization on the signup screen.
• Once verified, a confirmation email will be sent.
• Admin will send login credentials to the organization's account email.
• First-time login requires a password reset before accessing the dashboard.

Organization Features:

• Can create Drives which will be visible to all added locations.
• Only verified organizations can create drives.

Drive Post-Submission Flow:

• New drives are set to Pending status.
• Drives appear in the organization's dashboard with a banner including:
  • Banner image
  • Drive title
  • Items needed
  • Organization identity (e.g., Verified Organization label)
  • Location
  • Option for users to show interest or donate
• Pending drives do not appear in public listings until approved.

4. Application Features and Services

Giveezy allows users and organizations to share and exchange items. Key features include:

• Product Listings: Browse by GPS location or selected city.
• Detailed Product Information: Includes post type Giveaway.
• Adding an Item:
  • Title
  • Category and subcategory
  • Description, Condition, and Photos
  • Post type: Giveaway
• Managing Items:
  • Edit item details
  • Delete moves item to archive list
• Browse Options:
  • Filter by Category, Post type, Condition, etc.
• Request Management:
  • My Requests: Track sent requests and status
  • Received Requests: Accept, reject, or mark unavailable
• Pickup Verification: Via OTP system
• User Profiles: View name, photo, last active status
• Chat Functionality: Send messages between users
• My Hive: View all your listed items
• My Pickups: Track items you've taken

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false or misleading information
• Infringe third-party rights
• Distribute malware or harmful software
• Harvest user data without consent
• Engage in harmful behavior on the platform

Prohibited Activities

• Tamper with ads, promote unauthorized services, or disrupt platform functionality
• Introduce malware, viruses, or use automated bots
• Engage in illegal, fraudulent, or intellectual property–infringing activities
• Scrape data, hack systems, or attempt to bypass security protections

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Giveezy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of content.

7. Limitation of Liability

Giveezy shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, resulting from use or inability to use the app.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted here, and continued use implies acceptance.
